WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT?

Anna Michelle’s School of Dance was established in April 2006. I opened the dance school to provide a place for everybody to learn to dance in a friendly, fun and inclusive environment and 18 years on I am proud to say that this is still our main ethos.

Being affiliated with the International Dance Teachers Association means that we offer the very best tuition in a wide variety of different dance styles.  We offer something for everybody, including a range of adult classes.

We hold regular examinations for children from the age of 3 and also offer all pupils the opportunity to perform in our whole school show.

We have a small but successful competition team and we compete around 4 times during the year.  Pupils wanting to join this team must take a regular ballet class.

I started out as the only teacher for the dance school, and we have now grown to a team of 5.  I am extremely proud to say that all of my teachers have been with the dance school since we opened and have carried out their training through the dance school; this is testament to the commitment we have at Anna Michelle’s.
